Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved with NISPA and being active in the group is a great way to meet other parents at different schools across Ontario. Here are a few ways you can get involved.

Become A Member

We host regular events at our Member Schools throughout the academic year with opportunities for networking, idea sharing and learning both from each other and from guest speakers. Members also receive a quarterly newsletter. Independent schools can join NISPA and enjoy the many benefits of membership.

Attend An Event

NISPA hosts events such as seminars, guest speakers, workshops, roundtables, vendor marketplace, and an Annual General Meeting. It is also a great opportunity to see inside other independent schools as we rotate locations depending on the host schools. Volunteer

Our NISPA Board meets monthly during the academic year and its body is from a cross-section of our member schools. We recruit volunteers on an annual basis with positions starting in September, running through the academic year. The minimum commitment is a few hours a month for a one-year term.
