Welcome to the new school year! We hope it begins with excitement and leads to plenty of growth and joy throughout the year.

At NISPA, learning is one of our core values, and this year's theme reflects our commitment to this principle. As Margaret Fuller wisely said, "If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it." We are dedicated to embodying this spirit by creating platforms for sharing knowledge and promoting professional development. Our goal is to support you, our parent leaders, in learning and exchanging best practices, as the transfer of knowledge is central to everything we do.

I am thrilled to serve as Chair of NISPA this year, working alongside our dedicated Board members and our vibrant community of independent schools, Parent Associations, and Guilds. Our Board has been hard at work planning an exceptional year, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the schools that have generously offered to host our events. This year’s schedule is packed with workshops, guest speakers, discussion groups, and opportunities for socializing, all designed to enhance our collective learning and build a stronger community.
